Payment Method
Orders placed through imtra.com can be paid by Visa, MasterCard or American Express.  Your card number, expiration date, verification code, and name (as it appears on the card) are required fields in the Order Entry screen.  For security reasons, the address entered in the "billing information" section of the checkout process must be your credit card billing address.

Safe Shopping Guarantee
We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders.  The SSL encrypts, or translates, your order information into a highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately.  In addition, we employ an outside company to "audit" our security and make sure it is trustworthy.

Shipping
Imtra will ship your order from New Bedford, Massachusetts, via UPS (United Parcel Service).  We ship to addresses throughout the United States and Canada.  Your "Ship To" address must include a complete street address.  UPS cannot deliver to a Post Office Box.  Most orders received before 12:00pm ET will be shipped the same day.  Orders placed on a weekend will be processed the following Monday morning.  Please be aware that UPS does not deliver on weekends or holidays.  At this time, we are unable to offer UPS Saturday Delivery for orders placed through imtra.com.

Shipping to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands & Guam
UPS Ground services are now available to Puerto Rico (PR) and Hawaii (HI).  UPS 3-day service is not available to PR or HI.  The preferred shipping method to the US Virgin Islands (VI) and Guam (GM) is via Priority Mail, but UPS Worldwide Saver is also an option.  If you request your package to be delivered to an address in VI or GM, please indicate your preferred method of shipping in the "Comments" field.

Shipping to APO/FPO Addresses
Orders for delivery to U.S. military bases with AA, AE, or AP APO/FPO addresses can be placed by e-mail to orders@imtra.com, by fax at (508) 998-5359, or by telephone at (508) 995-7000.  These orders cannot be placed through the website's Shopping Cart because of the special shipping requirements involved.

International Billing/Shipping Addresses
Orders with billing or shipping addresses outside of the United States or Canada cannot be processed online.  There are distributors in other countries for many of the products we import and distribute, and we would be happy to put you in contact with them.  You can request this information by email at contact@imtra.com or by calling us at (508) 995-7000.  In many cases, however, we can ship to international addresses directly.  These orders can be emailed to us at orders@imtra.com.

Shipping Costs
Your package's shipping charges are estimated during the checkout process, but the actual shipping charges can only be calculated once your items have been picked and packed.  Your shipping charge will be the precise amount it costs us to ship your product to you, plus $5.95 shipping and handling per package.

Warranty Claim Requests
Imtra products are backed by some of the best warranties in the business, and each product group comes with its own warranty guidelines.  Complete written warranties are available upon request by contacting Imtra.

To request warranty consideration, call Imtra at 508-995-7000.  To expedite the procedure, please have the following information available:

  • Product type
  • Serial number
  • Date of purchase
  • What type of boat?
  • What year was the boat built?
  • Is the boat new or previously owned?
  • What is the nature of the warranty claim?

If a warranty return is recommended, you will be given a Return Authorization Number (RA#).  Please send the product back to Imtra following the steps outlined below under Returns.

Upon receipt of the product, our Returns and Service Departments will evaluate the item to determine whether it is covered under warranty or if a replacement will need to be ordered.  You will be contacted as soon as this determination has been made.

Returns
It is the company's policy to accept returned merchandise and issue a merchandise credit subject to the following conditions:

  • All returns must be approved prior to return and a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained and referenced when the goods are returned.  All goods must be returned prepaid.  A Return Authorization number must be obtained by calling the Customer Service Department at (508) 995-7000 between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm ET.
  • When calling for a Return Authorization, please provide the Imtra order or invoice number on which the items being returned were purchased.  A Return Authorization number cannot be issued without this information.  A copy of the original packing slip or invoice should be enclosed with the goods being returned, and the reason for return should be indicated.
  • Defective goods will be accepted anytime during the product's warranty period and will be processed in accordance with the product's warranty.
  • To avoid a minimum 10% restocking charge, you must call within 30 days from the date of the invoice, and the items being returned must then be sent to Imtra Corporation within 21 days from the date the Return Authorization number is issued.  If you do not call within 30 days, or if you do not return the items within the 21 day time period, goods returned will be subject to a minimum 10% restocking charge subject to inspection.
  • All non-defective items being returned for credit or exchange must be in new, saleable condition and in the original packaging.  Credit may be disallowed or restocking charges may be applied pending review.
  • We will not accept returns after 90 days from invoice date.
  • Non-stock, special ordered items are non-returnable.
  • When making the return, the Return Authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package or on the shipping label.  Please ship all returned items to:

  • Only those items for which a Return Authorization has been issued may be returned.
  • Goods returned to Imtra Corporation without proper Return Authorization may be returned to the sender.  The sender is responsible for all freight and handling charges.  COD shipments will not be accepted.
