Unlike the Andromeda G, the Andromeda G1 illuminates through the bottom of the fixture providing indirect lighting for a more subtle light effect, avoiding potential distraction in stair risers, companionways and other general low-level courtesy lighting. Both models (Andromeda G & G1) mount on a surface and do not require any cut-out. They draw minimal power, run cool, and are maintenance free offering longevity to you. Made in Italy.
