MR16 HID to D2 HID Conversion Kit
Upgrade your earlier generation underwater lights (with black nylon end cap) to the latest upgraded D2 end cap assembly. With this fully sealed end cap assembly, you will now be able to upgrade to the latest underwater light technology eliminating possible water intrusion as well as preventing internal wires from twisting within the thru hull. Simply unthread your nylon end cap and replace it with this bronze, threaded end cap assembly to ensure the extended life expectancy of HID lamps.
Kit includes:- Machined silicone bronze casted housing to fully seal internal components
- Internal O-Ring seal to prevent water intrusion
- Cable & Plug ends are provided to enable a "plug & play" system with your existing ballast
If your light has a black end cap as shown below, it is the older style and can be converted using this kit.

Note:
Replacement ILIM821-MR16/D2 end cap assembly will also require the latest version lamp ILPT41770. Your current ballast will not need to be changed, however.
