Filter Capacitor for DLD and VPC Dimmers. Wired close to a dimmer, the IML Filter Capacitor will absorb any stray noise preventing unwanted audible sounds from stereo speakers.
The IML Filter Capacitor acts like a battery to filter out any stray "dimmer" noise that is audible through stereo speakers. Although the noise may only be audible when the lights are activated, it is usually noise in the power grid of the boat's electrical system which many times is directly associated with the wiring of the stereo.
