In 2025 Zipwake introduced the latest innovation to their Dynamic Trim Control System: the PRO series. The most significant upgrade to the PRO series is the speed at which they operate. The interceptors feature a new, robust servo-motor that allow them to operate 5-times faster than previous models, moving from 0-30mm (Series S) or 0-60mm (Series E) in just 0.3 seconds. That speed gives the Zipwake PRO system the ability to respond instantly to changing sea conditions and shifting loads, optimizing trim and stability for a smoother ride. But speed isn’t the only thing that PRO brings to the table, as Zipwake has added numerous features to the system using both new hardware and innovative software.
New Features of Zipwake PRO
Zipwake PRO offers all the benefits of a traditional Zipwake system, but with the faster response times, all those features have been improved. The active roll control can respond to waves five times faster, providing a stable ride even in choppy conditions. The balanced turn function dynamically adjusts the heeling angle to cancel out the lateral forces experienced onboard during turns, resulting in more controlled maneuvering and comfortable turns, even at speed. And of course, manual control is still an option, if that’s your preference. So, what’s new?
Perfect Pitch
Zipwake PRO now offers active pitch control, continuously and rapidly adjusting the boat’s trim to maintain the boat’s perfect running angle, which is set by the user and can be adjusted within the settings. Once that optimal running angle is determined and set by the user, the system constantly works using precise movements to keep the boat’s running trim angle, regardless of head seas, following seas, beam seas, or changes in weight distribution. This automatic adjustment ensures improved acceleration, better visibility, enhanced stability, greater comfort and lower fuel consumption.
New User Interface

Zipwake refined the user interface for the PRO system, eliminating some of the clutter and emphasizing the most important information. Designed with the operator in mind, it ensures the right information is presented at the right time without any unnecessary and potentially distracting graphics, whether you’re using the Zipwake control panel or the existing MFD on your boat with an integrator module.
Wake Shaping
For those that enjoy tow and surf sports, the system’s wake-shaping feature provides easy control for fine-tuning the wake of the boat. This gives the user the ability to create the ideal surfing conditions for whoever they’re towing behind the boat, regardless of experience or skill level.
Easy Installation & Upgrades
One benefit of the new PRO system is that the installation process is just as easy as it has always been. It involves simply bolting the interceptors to the transom, installing the distribution unit – the junction box that ties the components together – on the inside of the boat, mounting a control panel and running wires.
In addition, any older Series S or Series E system can be upgraded to PRO without having to install a whole new system. The PRO upgrade kit includes new servo-motors that go inside the interceptors, and a new distribution unit to replace the previous one. The cabling remains the same for everything except the run between the servos and the distribution unit, so making the upgrade is remarkably straightforward. Once the new components are installed, a quick software update with a USB thumb drive is the last step required to make it a PRO system.

Final Thoughts
The Zipwake PRO system is available for both Series S and Series E, and is offered in all 25 different sizes, shapes configurations that were previously available from Zipwake. All the options make this the most adaptable, innovated and efficient automated trim control system on the market today.
